Born and raised in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, Biggie got his start working with DJ Mister Cee (Big Daddy Kane's DJ) and making cameos on records by Mary J. recorded only two official albums, but he remains a lyrical legend years after his death. However, the album also makes it clear that despite turning over a new leaf, it can be hard for someone who once had "a key knee deep in the crack game" ("Things Done Changed") to cut all ties with their past life.
